Each tab is linked to the different projects I have worked on and/or I'm currently working on for each language. Projects that use more than one language/set of languages can be found on the "Multi-Lenguage" tab.

I am in the process of moving my old website to this new one, however this rebuild uses a completly different process, and thus I have to add each part of the website by hand. Many tabs might not have items or very little items as of now, but I am in the process of adding more, and every day I try to add a few items.

About me

My name is Ruben Alba Alcalde, I am 20 years old, I was born in Spain and moved to Italy when I was 6, I lived there for 5 years before moving to the US at age 11. I have been very lucky to live in different countries with different cultures. It has also allowed me to be trilingual (Spanish, Italian, and English).

I am currently working towards completing a Java and Web Development certificate at ACC. I graduated from ACC with an Associate's of Science in Engineering in December 2021 and I have come back for an Associate's of Applied Science in Computer Information Technology, where I am learning several programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript, as well as non-programming languages such as SQL, HTML, and CSS. I have also taken a 6-month Professional Project Management Certificate from Google, which I finished on June 6th of 2022.

My future goal is to archieve a Master's in aerospacial engineering, with a second major in Computer Information Technology. I have always liked programming, science and STEM subjects, physics/engineering being my favorite, although I enjoy every other type whether it is chemistry, mathematics, astronomy, etc. I have always found fascinating the things we can make and the problems that we can solve using all of these subjects together.

Ever since I was a kid I have looked at objects and wondered how they work, as I have grown I have tried to learn as much as I can from all of these subjects. I have also been lucky with my nuclear family being all about computers, which has surrounded me with a coding/programming enviroment. At 16, I started with the basics of HTML & CSS, Java, C#, and JavaScript.
